No Rest for the Wicked: Complete Housing Guide — How to Buy Every House in the Game

In No Rest for the Wicked, there is a complex crafting system that allows players to create unique builds. Therefore, you need a place for crafting, where you can set up workbenches and start creating. In this guide, you will learn where all the houses in the game are located and how to purchase them.

How to Buy a House

You can buy a house after completing the story quest "Sacrament", after meeting the Keeper and his apprentice Roan. To see the available housing for purchase, open the map and look for icons marked "House for Sale". Then approach the sign of one of the buildings, and at the top of the screen you will see the cost of the house.

You can sell your house for the same price you bought it. If you decide to buy the dwelling again, all your belongings will remain in place. Below, we will tell you in detail about the location of all houses and their prices.

Nest

You will receive your first home at the start of the game after completing the "Sacrament" quest. The apartment is located in the Keeper’s Tower, and it has a fireplace for preparing simple food and a chest for storing items.

We recommend investing resources in Danos’s construction project "Stairs at the Dwelling", which will allow you to quickly travel through the nest from the Whisper to the Tower.

Node

A hut that can be bought for 8 silver, located to the right of the church.

Burrow

Look for the fountain located in the western part of the city near the cemetery. Next to it, you will see an open door illuminated by a torch. Go through the building and exit onto a wooden platform. Then go right, and the first house you see can be bought for 10 silver.

Chicken Coop

Before the stairs to the city market, turn right and run until you see the spinning wheels of a watermill, above which is a house for 14 silver.

Manor

A house for 25 silver is located on the city square to the right of Danos.

Estate

The most expensive dwelling for 30 silver is located behind the headquarters, next to the prison.

Why You Need a House

The game features a complex crafting system that requires many different materials. Therefore, houses serve as a place where you can set up workbenches for processing raw materials, chests for storage, and crafting tables for making finished items.
