Capcom to Bring Playable Versions of Resident Evil Requiem and Onimusha: Way of the Sword to Gamescom 2025
Those who are eagerly awaiting Resident Evil Requiem and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, will be able to try out both games before launch in a couple of months during this year's Gamescom.
Earlier today, Capcom confirmed that new games in the two classic franchises will be playable at this year's Gamescom, which runs from August 20-24 in Cologne, Germany, with over 85 game demo stations spread across over 950 square meters. Resident Evil Requiem and Onimusha: Way of the Sword won't be the only games the publisher will be showing at the show, so there's a chance that the third game Capcom showed off last week, Pragmata, will also be available at Gamescom 2025.
Resident Evil Requiem will release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on February 27, 2026, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword is currently scheduled for a 2026 release on PC and consoles.
