Forza Horizon 6 is not in early development - users have found evidence of this

 

Recently, one of the insiders reported that Forza Horizon 6is in the early stages of production:

But Extas1s may have been wrong: users have found evidence that Playground Games is already actively working on Forza Horizon 6, and the project itself is probably in the late stages of production:

• Daniel Hinckley has been working on an unannounced Forza Horizon project since January 2023, indicating the existence of a new game in the franchise;
• Callum Henry runs the Environment Art team, which consists of 70 people, including leads, artists, and photographers. For comparison, Forza Horizon 5 had a team that was half that size (~40 people) even in the later stages. This growth in the team is indicative of late development, not early development;
• In the case of Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5, Playground Games hired a lot of contract environment artists 12-18 months before release. And since last summer, they've been hiring again.

So, based on this information, the Forza Horizon 6 project does exist and is most likely nearing completion.
