Insider 100% Sure Silent Hill 2 Remake DLC Is In Development And Will Be Announced Soon

 

Following the release of the critically acclaimed remake of Silent Hill 2, Bloober Team is now working on a new project Cronos: The New DawnHowever, it seems that the studio is not finished with the Silent Hill universe yet.

According to insider Dusk Golem, the team is currently developing the Born From a Wish DLC for Silent Hill 2 Remake, with an announcement expected very soon.

I have received 100% confirmation that the Born From a Wish DLC is still in development and will be released soon.

While it's unclear what event the announcement will be made at, the insider doesn't rule out the possibility of an announcement during the Xbox Games Showcase, alongside the announcement of the Xbox Series version of the game.

There's a better than zero chance the DLC will be announced this Sunday during the Xbox event, alongside the Xbox version of Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Born From a Wish is a piece of additional content that was included with some versions of the original Silent Hill 2. The side story takes place before the main campaign, giving players the opportunity to control Maria as she deals with existential questions, further immersing herself in the story.
