Den of Geek shared the first still of Jade, played by Tati Gabrielle, from the upcoming film "Mortal Kombat 2." A set photo also appeared, featuring director Simon McQuoid and a character whose identity remains under wraps.
In Mortal Kombat 2, Earthrealm's champions must battle each other to win a brutal tournament. Joining the team is Johnny Cage, an action actor and master fighter, who will play a key role in the confrontation with Shao Kahn.
The film stars Karl Urban, Lewis Tan, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jessica McNamee, and others. Simon McQuoid is once again directing. The film will premiere on May 8, 2026.
