KiriGiri hacked Borderlands 4's Denuvo protection using a hypervisor.

 

Hacker KiriGiri reported that she was able to crack the Denuvo protection in Borderlands 4.using a hypervisor.

A hack was performed on version 1.3.0-4459647 of the game. According to the hacker, the protection in this game was slightly different from other releases and, in addition to Denuvo, also included the Symbiote anti-cheat. However, specific details on how much Symbiote complicated the hack were not provided.

Borderlands 4 was released in the fall of 2025 and is one of the most recently hacked games with Denuvo protection.
