Resident Evil Requiem hasn't been released yet, but rumors about the next installment in the series are already starting to surface. According to insider Dusk Golem (aka AestheticGamer), who first reported Leon Kennedy's return, Capcom plans to release Resident Evil 10 no earlier than 2029, just three years from now. The gap between RE9 and RE10 (though it probably won't be called that) is a bit shorter than usual (assuming RE10 isn't delayed either, it's currently scheduled for 2029, but in a worst-case scenario it could be delayed to 2030, 2031, depending on the whims of the game's developers), and RE9's DLC has had time to prepare.
